Description

Designed for Telephony use but was also used for audio amplifiers.
The angled construction of the electrodes is unusual in this late design,but enabled a larger anode and also was thought to be more effective at cooling when used in arrays for telephony amplification. Also made with Micromesh brand.
Power output 1.8W at 10% distortion with Va=200 and Ia=40mA, Vg=-10, gm=5.

The Brimar PA1 datasheet shows an tube with Standerd label with also the brand Micromesh on the label. Next picture showes a Micromesh PA1 with box.

Hallo Röhrenfreunde

Habe Röhre gefunden, es könnte sich um die PA1 handeln, die Schrift ist allerdings auf dem Kolben praktisch nicht mehr lesbar. Der innere Aufbau ist typisch für eine indirekt geheizte Endröhre, sie funktioniert allerdings schon bei 2,5 V Heizspannung gut. Das Besondere ist die schräge Anordnung des Systems im Glaskolben.

Könnte das die PA1 sein?

Guten Morgen Herr Pfister,

eine PA1 ist das nicht; die hat nämlich 4-Stiftsockel, 4V Heizung und ist eine direkt geheizte Endtriode.

Ist das eine halbindirekt geheizte Endtetrode oder -pentode?

Brimar PA1 

Guten Tag Herr Pfister und Herr Schmidt,

Eigentlich glaube Ich  das sie eine PA1 von Brimar/Standard Telephones and Cables ist.

Herunter liegt eine PA1.  Heizung ist 4V, und eine Triode.  Aber veilleicht mit 2.5V könnte sie funktioniert;  Ich kann es nicht prüfen weil meine kaputt ist!

(Auch gibt es eine PA1 von Mullard).
