Similar to R5222, the 7-pin B7G base being be modified to fit wide range WG-flanged external cavities.
Depending upon the external cavity, it could be used as local oscillator in X-band radar receivers or up to 11 GHz, as pump oscillator in S-band parametric amplifiers.
