Description

This tube was designed in the 1930's as part of an electronic relay system which invloved mercury. No information has been located to show the exact function of the tube. An unsourced advertisement from 1942 claimed that the tube was for "New switchgear, without iron, without copper, made of domestic material glass. A success of the total material conversion".  The tube is fitted with a B5 tube base and continuity is shown from one filament pin to the anode pin. It is not known what the other three pins were connected to. The substantial filament operated in 220 volts.
