Description

RES164d (Telefunken), Output pentode, 4 pin-version, launched spring 1928, 5-pin-version at 1930.
Equivalent types: B443S (Philips), L416D (Valvo), PP416 (Tungsram)
Predecessors: B443, L415D. Successors: RES364
The output pentode RES164d is an improved version of the B443 with about twice the amplification but required only 80 volts as screen voltage. About 1930 it was replaced by the 5-pin-version RES164, which became famous in the German Volksempfänger VE301.
