According to Tyne on page 414, the RH4041 is a bigrille with a a thoriated filament for use as frequency changer, high-frequency amplifier or detector.
According to different sources the RH4041 would be similar to the A441 Philips (Tubes manufacturer equivalence table, L'Histoire singulière du tube radio par M Gérard Duperray, L'ABCDaire des lampes de TSF des jeunes années...).
