Description |
Tyne page 210: Type TN operated with 2000 volts on the anode and 4 to 4.5 amperes in the filament at 6 volts. It has a 3-pin base - with the anode on the top.
Page 211: Manufactured by the Edison and Swan Electric Light Company. Type TN functions as a transmitting valve in the Marconi Short-Distance Wireless Telephone Transmitter and Receiver made in 1914. And was also used by the Royal Flying corps in wireless sets for plane-to-ground communication during WW1.
