Plastic Hornyak scintillators for fast neutrons measurements in nuclear reactors. Styrene monomer polymerized with zinc sulphide: neutrons cause the styrene to produce recoil protons which ionize ZnS. Discs from 25 to 125mm are supplied, according to customers specs.
