Description

In the summer of 1911 Paul E. Wallace made and sold the "Wallace Valve Detector', this was at least a year before it was first advertised for sale.

This is an unbased tubular Audion similar to the Audion_06-triode which Wallace bought from McCandless. It has a single, a double filament and has wires only for connections. It is used in the Wallace Valve detector and was first pictured in an advertisement in Modern Electrics of November 1912.
