Description

The Moorhead TT tube is a low power transmitting type which operates with 500 volts on the anode. It is similar to the Moorhead C but has an eleven turn grid, instead of the twenty two turns as in the C tube. The grid is made of molybdenum in accordance with British Government specifications. It has a Shaw base made by the Shaw Insulator Company, which was associated with Moorhead laboratories. Literature states that this tube has been developed as an undamped wave transmitter for the amateur. The tube was made for two years from early May, 1920.
