Description

Work started on development of this tube at the GE laboratories in the Spring of 1920 and the type number was assigned to it in June 1921.It was released to the public on October 1921. The base insulation on early tubes was a mica disc 50-Watt size tube, called Kenotron Rectifier.
DC output 150 W at 1000 V DC.
