Description

This tube is a Hi Mu version of the RCA UX199 tube. It was used for microphone amplification, scanning disk television and resistance coupled amplifiers. The glass bulb was a few millimeters bigger in diameter than the UX199. UX199 = 25mm, UX859 = 28 mm)
