S-band TWT amplifier, designed to be used as low-power driver in phase-coherent radar systems. Requires VA-1501B external electromagnet and forced-air cooling. Gain 30dB min., 2.7 to 2.9GHz out power 26W with 0.01 max duty. 2220V beam, +27V grid pulses.
Also used in special test equipment.
