Description

Aeriola WR21D. For audion stage. Green lacquer tip.
Initially for the Westinghouse DR (1921). Later for the Aeriola Grand receiver of July 1922. The only known Radiola Grand can be seen in the Ford Museum (Douglas). The manufacturing of this tube was discontinued already in September 1922. Needs a ballast tube WB800.
This tube is fitted with a base made by the Shaw Insulator Company and was surplus stock acquired by the Westinghouse Company when they bought the Moorhead laboratories inventory in 1920.
