Short Description

Short Wave Craft focused on receivers and transmitters in the short wave and vfh spectrum. Articles included construction, industry innovations, dx reports. and amateur radio topics. It is historically important not only for its general history and advertisements, but it included many articles on consumer equipment which included schematics to many hard to find sets. It began publication in June of 1930 as a bi-monthly magazine and went to monthly in April of 1932. The magazine later became Short Wave and Television in January of 1937 and then Radio & Television in October of 1938.
