I grew up in a 3 family home with my grandparents. My grandfather was a radio and television repairman, his shop was in our basement. Since the time of a child (1970s) I've always been mucking around with vintage tube radios. Today I buy and restore old radios. I'm also interested in shortwave listening and amateur radio. I hold extra class amateur radio license AB1DQ and have been licensed since 2002. I am also a photographer and the former moderator of the Argus Camera Collectors Group. My particular area of interest in the club is the pre-camera days when Arborphone (CAVAC) and IRC of Ann Arbor manufactured radios. I've done much research on this topic and every few years I give a presentation on this radio history at the annual Argus Collectors Group Gathering in Eden, NC. Many thanks for your consideration.
