Below you find a part of the radio collection Stephen Higgins - including other related items. i used to collect tube radios,now i have only a couple left. i now mainly collect sharp equipment, ghetto blaster types but am now moving into smaller and older transistors due to space issues, i have about 30 GF and Vz,s which started when i sought out an 8989 the same as i had in my teens, i love the tangible pleasure they give me and hope to learn more about the way they work as some older sets are in need of basic repair. i have some sets that are not yet pictured on the site and so i hope to be able to contribute at an early stage.moving ahead in time a few years, i am trying to keep my collecting under control, but i have developed a liking for car audio equipment, mainly 70s and 80s which i will feature some of when i get the time. |
