History:

The Official Gazette of the United States Patent Office, June 1931 Vols. 406 & 407 have an entry for Argus tubes, stating "Ceco Manufacturing Company, Inc. doing business as Argus Radio Tube Co., Providence, R.I."

Also in 1931, the Continental Tire Corporation, doing business as Argus Radio Tube Co., registered the ARGUS logo as a trademark. Continental Tire had their seat at 1508 S. Michigan Ave. in Chicago in 1929. The Continental Corporation (w/o "Tire") had their seat in 1601 S. Michigan Ave. in Chicago in 1933.
