K.G.H. Pty. Ltd. was registered Keith G Harris as dealers in radio sets and other musical instruments in July 1937.[1] It is not clear as to what they manufactured from 1937 through WW2 but advertising commenced for staff and radios from 1948.
The company announced in January 1956 that they had agreed to exchange knowledge on the production of radio & television equipment with AC Cossor Ltd. London [2]
In May 1956 the set up K.G.H. (Holdings) Ltd. with a share subscription offer of 557,640 shares at 2 shillings each to manufacture television receivers.[3]
They manufactured radios, radiograms, and televisions with a large part proportion of the production sold through  H. G. Palmer.
Palmers financial collapse in 1965 caused the demise of the company which was unfortunate as the company had been thinking about floating onto the Stock Exchange. The company closed in 1965.[4]

History of Keith G Harris from The Bulletin Apr 24, 1984, Page 32.
Born to a comfortable family in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, Harris was educated at one of the city’s leading private boys’ schools. His family had property and owned Harris Shoes at Bondi Junction.
He set up KGH Pty. Ltd. which eventually became one of the major manufacturers of radiograms, radios and inter-office communication systems. He also did a deal with the H. G. Palmer group which was rapidly expanding to become one of Australia’s largest radio and television retailers. KGH was the major manufacturer of Palmer’s brands. People who knew Harris then recall his flamboyant style, in particular his cars. He favoured a Bentley. When H. G. Palmer crashed in one of the most spectacular and resounding financial disasters in Australian commercial history, KGH Pty. Ltd. lost only $44,638 in bad debts but also lost its main customer. Harris closed down the company and sold property in an inner Sydney suburb for a tidy sum to Telephone Manufacturing, a company absorbed into Philips Industries.
He had run for a seat on the STC board and won election in 1966. He retained membership, including a period as vice-chairman, until retiring last year at the age of 70.
