Moscow Volna Works, Moskow. Founded in 1929 as electro-mechanical repair facility. Reorganized in 1933 into radiotelephone repair plant manufacturing also "Rekord" wired broadcast loudspeakers and equipment for audio amplification. During WWII produced field switchboards and intercom equipment for tanks and airplanes. In 1947, on top of military products manufactured "Volna" crystal sets for use in rural areas. |
