I think this model still takes SW range! If aerial-switch (33) is set into the last (9th) position on the right, the radio needs aerial to the 1. or 2. SW input for receiving, and lots of stations come. In case of other positions, SW inputs are not active. Otherwise, aerial connected to the MW input is not enough for SW receiving, aerial connected  to the SW inputs does not support MW receiving... On the other hand, I do not know, why there are two SW inputs.
