 Hello everyone,

I just received one of these radios, and the dial glass was partly broken in shipping.

Does anyone have advice about either how to repair it, or reproduce it? Two small pieces are broken off.

Perhaps if I am lucky, someone has a spare glass saved somewhere? Of course, I would be happy to pay a realistic price for it.

Thank you.

Mark

Hello Mark.

You also can make a copy of your broken dial glass, scanning it,retouching the picture, and printing at last on transparent film. Then you put the film sheet between two transparent acrylic or glass sheets.

That's what I have done in January 2005 for a Schaub -Lorenz, Goldy. Detail in attach.

 Dear Mario,

Thank you very much for this suggestion. It's a good one in fact. Fortunately, I believe I've located a replacement original glass. Very lucky!

Best,

Mark
