Unknown Blaupunkt model
? Unknown Blaupunkt model
Hello;
We have unknown Blaupunkt buss radio.
Does enyon recoqnize proper model?
Its connect to old Munchen bakplane, I`ll doubt it`snt Munchen, becuse I havent find proper picture whits fit for Muchen or other Blaupunkt model.
Older one Munchen have tubes, but this is full transitored.
Above unit ( connection point for mic, etc ?) has 4 transistor BFY39, Z 1,5, Z6/3
and AD 150B.
What does mean upper units puttons R, TB, AL, JL, KL. Our old bus driver don`t remember mening of them. They are bus builders and driver from 70 tale (Kabus etc.).
Receiver is fully transistored. Power 12 or 24 etc. ?
Unfotunatelly all connection wires are cut.
I`ll like to know both units model, that I can repait them.

Blaupunkt München IV Serie X
Hello Kaarlo,
your bus radio is identified to model München IV Serie X, dated for the production year 1966/67.

The radio receiver part derives from Blaupunkt Frankfurt Serie X, but it has no audio power amplifier.
The missing power amplifier is a separate box to be mounted at a bracket support. The page of München IV Serie X shows it. It connects to the 5 button control unit (or mode box) via the big multisocket.
The supply power can be changed in the amplifier box from 12 to 24 V.
The 5 push buttons above of the radio describes the amplifier input/output modes:
- R = Radio
- TB = Tonband (tape recorder)
- AL = Aussenlautsprecher (external speaker)
- IL (or JL) = Innenlautsprecher (internal speaker)
- KL = Kontrolllautsprecher (control speaker)
I hope, this will help.
Regards, Bernhard
