The Admiral AM786 11 tube console features 3 continuous all-wave bands (540 to 18,000 kc). It has automatic volume control, automatic antenna tuning, and a push-pull output stage with 7.5 watts of undistorted power output to a 12" heavy-duty plug-in super-dynamic auditorium type speaker.

It employs the Continental AM7 chassis.
