  • Anotaciones
  • The "D" is only the chassis - for LYRIC D11, D19, D39 and may be more models. Those e models are shown in the "Fall and Winter issue 1930-1931 Radio Merchandise Wholesale Catalog" of "The James Bailey Company", 264 Middle Street, Portland, Maine. For the D11 for example, the Price is $ 99.50 without tubes and the wholesale price is then $ 59.70. With tubes it is $ 117.50 / $ 70.50. The text in that catalog is interesting: "In the combined plants of the All-American Mohawk Corporation and the Rudolph Wurlitzer Manufacturing Company, at North Tonawanda, New York, 93 % of the comlete LYRIC set is made. The same skill and workmanship that have made the mighty Wurlitzer organs famous is now responsible for the undisputed preëminence of LYRIC. Two hundred years of background and experience in the music indurstry enable this manufacturer to produce an outstanding radio such as the new 1931 LYRIC."
