  • 5 Valve, AC powered, Screen Grid, TRF Receiver with Linear Power Detection and one stage of audio amplification.

    Chassis:
    The chassis has provision for an aerial Local/Distance Switch, phonograph audio inputs and a Radio/Phono change over switch.  Also provision has been made to use either an Electromagnetic or permanent magnet speaker with a field compensating resistor included. There is a power socket mounted on the rear of chassis for powering a phonograph. The chassis is also used in the Radiola 45E

    The chassis has two large boxes on the rear. One houses the power transformer and the other the power smoothing components.

    Phonograph:
    Induction, motor driven turntable with speed control and a Tone arm with volume control.

    Cabinet:
    Console style, Queensland Walnut cabinet with front doors. The volume, tuning and tone controls, plus aerial Local/Distance switch and Phono Input Switch on the front panel.
