  • The Arvin model 402A has a metal "Ivory" finish cabinet. The same radio with the "Walnut" finish is the Arvin model 402. Both are shown in two 1939 fliers titled "New 1940 Arvin Radios". 

    The two 3-tube AC/DC models have a twenty-foot antenna attached. Band coverage of the Arvin 402/402A is 540 to 1750 kc which includes some police reception. Power consumption 25 Watts.

    Another "Ivory" finish version is the Kent 402-A.
