    Features: 5V, B/C; tuned R.F. stage; 8" speaker; on/off switch on volume control; loop aerial on chassis; external aerial and earth terminals; mooulded carrying handle, aeroplane cloth covered ply case, colours as available; overal size 13½' x 10¼" x 5"; weight 16 lbs., uses two 482 and one 745 batteries.

    Due to post war shortages of 3V4 valves some models were supplied with 1Q5GT or 3Q4 output valves. Also, again due to shortages, some models had the 1T4 valve the in I.F. stage substituted by a type 1L4, with no circuit changes.
