  Model SJ is a 10-channel receiver. Features "Edge-to-Edge" picture clarity from full sized 17" screen. Pre-stabilised focusing. Concealed pre-set controls. Astor "Controlled-Sound". Big front-mounted elliptical speaker. Mighty "Videomatic" chassis. Gainsborough cabinets in glorious finishes (mahogany & walnut). Optional table available (£5/5/-) (MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)

  This was the first Astor television on the Australian market.

  Approximately two hundred of the first production run of Model 'SJ' table receivers are fitted with a turret tuner (Cyldon) part No. PA516 which has coils for only three channels (2, 7 & 9)

  Later production receivers are fitted with a turret tuner (Cyldon) part No. PA538 which has coils fitted for 10 channels.

  Superseded by Model ASJ.
