Developed for the Danish Resistance Movement in the WW2.
The "Telephone Book" aquired its name because its size was similar to the Copenhagen telephone directory and, therefore, fitted easily into the type of briefcase which was popular during the war years. Its handiness allowed the user to make a quick escape by bicycle when a German detection van was spotted by the look-out man.
