  • December 1922 Bonduaux & Knights B&K Unwired Receiver three circuit tuner kit. Kit consisted of 2 B&K variometers, a B&K variocoupler and all necessary parts mounted to a shielded engraved rubber front panel. The receiver was supplied with a solid mahogany cabinet.
The unwired receivers that were offered in the early 1920's were the radio manufacturers attempt to circumvent the Armstrong regeneration patent that Westinghouse held. The end user was free to wire a receiver using what ever patented circuit he wanted to use.
