The Brook 10D is an AC operated 10 tube High Fidelity mono audio power amplifier. This amplifier required the use of a separate preamplifier when used in a typical Hi-Fi audio system.
NOTE: The SAMS Photofact covers both the 10C and the 10D amplifiers and focuses on the 10C model. The SAMS Photofact does not make it clear that the 10D model is a 10 tube amplifier that uses a dual-triode 7N7 for the input AF and AF phase inversion stages, while the 10C model is an 11 tube amplifier that uses two different triode 7A4 tubes for the same function.
