The EBS4 works on A.C. supplies, 100-130 volts and 200-250 volts, 40-100 cycles; current consumption is 40 watts.

Similar to the universal model EU4 which works on either A.C. or D.C. supplies 100-120 and 200-250 volts; current consumption is approximately 60 watts.

The Bush Teleflic is a mechanical logging device with a rotary optical readout, letters, and numbers with a full sweep of the numbers for each letter. It is driven by the tuning mechanism. It was intended to make it easier to retune to specific stations on shortwave. It has no electronics other than backlight and it is not a "bandspread" mechanism nor any effect on selectivity. It is on at least the SW45, BA53, BA53 Export, EBS4, BA63 and PB53 models.
