  • Notes
  • The Bush Teleflic is mechanical logging device with a rotary optical readout, letters and numbers with a full sweep of the numbers for each letter. It is driven from the tuning mechanism. It was intended to make it easier to retune to specific stations. It has no electronics other than back light and it is not a "bandspread" mechanism nor any effect on selectivity. It is on at least the SW45, BA53, BA53 Export, EBS4, BA63 and PB53 models. The  Teleflic lamp is only on when Shortwave is selected.

Two scale lamps/bulbs for each band (switched) and one for Teleflic (all 300mA each and seven in total).

    Total 90W consumption.

At extreme clockwise the tone control switches the IF bandwidth for "higher fidelity".

"Reverse Vernier" / Slow motion action on tuning.

Wander plug 1/8" Sockets for  PU/Gram, Aerial, Earth and external speaker.

    Wavebands / Switch function

Loudspeaker is Rola F.7 600 with 1.8 Ohm speech coil, 600 Ohm DC field coil, 0.17 Ohm hum bucking coil and mounted transformer (Primary 3K AC Anode load, DC 250 ohms. Secondary DC 0.4 Ohms).
