The Codan Type 7004 HF Receiver is specifically designed for the reception of single sideband (A3J) signals on a single fixed channel. Excellant HF Receiver for use at remote unmanned HF receiving sites due to its low power consumption and physical size. Up to four 7004 receivers can be mounted in a standard 19 inch rack sub-frame (or three 7004 receivers and a 7207A Mains Power Supply).

Frequency Range: Single channel in range 2 - 10MHz & 10 - 20MHz (Changes between these bands requires tuning coils to be changed).

Operating Mode: SSB (A3J) (Either Upper or Lower sideband). Optional IF Flter for AM (A3H) reception.

Frequency Stability: Standard - Better than +/-50Hz (5^o to 55^oC), +/-60Hz (0^o to 65^oC)                                  High Stability - In the range 2 - 13MHz better than +/-5Hz over any 25^oC span in the range 10^o to 45^oC. In the range 13 - 20MHz better than +/-10Hz over any 25^oC span in the range 10^o to 45^oC.

Drift: <2 parts in 10⁷ + 1Hz per month at 25^oC.

RF I/P: 50ohms unbalanced

Signal to Noise Ratio: SSB - Better than 20dB SINAD for a 1uV EMF signal at 50 ohms

IF Frequency: 1650Hz

Power I/P: SSB - 12V DC +/- 5%, 20mA

1 to 3 receivers mount in a 19" rack shelf with a 7207A power supply.
