  • The Deforest "Aries" is a 4-tube TRF radio for standard broadcast reception. Same schematic as the Rogers model 11/40. This model requires a 75-125 foot external wire antenna.

    Stein mentions 5 tubes which might be erroneous. Stein further uses the model name "Aires", which is probably also erroneous, as an uploaded picture of the bottom of the model shows the name "Aries".
