    For 200V DC or when DC doesn't give full size scan the V15 rectifier can be shorted.

    As the chassis can be live the two resistors and three capacitors on the aerial socket are critical to safety.

    There were quite a few component changes during production. The HMV 1864 is the same chassis as HMV/EMI Radio/TV by then part of Thorn/Ferguson.
