  • Bemerkung

  • The position of the on/off-volume control and the wavechange control are  indicated in the tuning scale. Steel cables link the controls to a small pointer ats the bottom of the tuning scale.

    The "BC3840L" version (as with most GEC) indicates Low Voltage inputs added on transformer. The non-L version doesn't have 110V ranges, only 240V ranges.

Since I have posted this particular radio, and based on the stations identified I feel that in fact this model was produced in 1935, not later, also as i was not to sure at first what or how to add data, the valves are in fact V4 U50 full wave rectifier, V1/V2 W63 variable-mu screen pentodes and V3 KT63 Tetrode power output valve.

Thank you to the two other members who have advised me on the date as in fact 1937, not 1935
