An AC mains 2 band table radio housed in a bakelite cabinet. With an auto tuning mechanism and 6 press buttons for preset radio stations. Terminals for an external loudspeaker. The GEC BC4040 is the same but has different AC mains voltage options. Same cabinet as the GEC BC4045 AC/DC model and GEC BC4046 battery model. Price in 1939 9 guineas.
