Two dials (primary tuning control knobs). See also the much more expensive earlier model CR-5 with a tube outside (exposed tube) instead of the peephole.
The Rosen 1925 schematic suggests modifications that do improve the performance of the CR5. Danco repair kit 88001 for Brasscraft stops contain an o ring of the correct size to repair the vernier wheel.
