• The Majestic model 320 from Grigsby-Grunow is - together with the Majestic model 300 - the first model having a "saturable core reactor" as tuning aid. Grigsby-Grunow Co. called it "Synchro-Silent Tuning" or "Reactance Resonance Indicator". See post 5 here. The model 320 has two strong electrodynamic loudspeakers (field resistance 520 ohms, voice coil resistance 1.7 ohms) but there is also single loudspeaker operation possible with the G-14-F loudspeaker.
