  • Anotaciones
  • According to the service manual, the chassis 55 is for the Majestic models Ardmore 56, Berkshire 57 and Viking 58. There is a 3-gang tuning condenser by using a RF bandfilter. According to Rider's 3-1 They use the model G-10-D dynamic speaker with a field resistance of 1650 ohms at 57 degree F. Heavy "U" construction as model G-10-B dynamic speaker and has a hum buck coil. The chassis uses one or more spray shield tubes. They have the same number with an "S" added. The service manual is dated February 1932, and the chassis schematic is dated May 1, 1932 and November 1, 1932.
This model Majestic Viking 58 has also a short wave converter with a chassis 10. It was advertised February 1932 including the short wave converter 10. Radio Collector`s Guide 1921 shows the model 58 almost illegible. It looks also like a distorted 38, which does not exist. The model family with chassis 55 should not to be confused with the later Tombstone 56 from 1938 by Majestic nor with the model 55 with chassis 500.
