Äußerlich unterscheiden sich TK40/42 vom TK45 durch die Größe des Koffers. Im TK45 ist neben den Lautsprechern auch die Stereo-Endstufe untergebracht. Das TM45 ist weitgehend als TK45-Chassis ohne Koffer zu behandeln.
Die Geräte TK40/42/45 unterscheiden sich in ihrer Laufwerkmechanik überhaupt nicht. Kleine Abweichungen im Aufbau und in der Funktion einzelner Bedienungsorgane beruhen ausschließlich auf den unterschiedlichen elektrischen Funktionen.

I am restoring this recorder given to me by a German friend. He has tapes of his family, now dead, which I want to record onto CD for him. The recorder has been mutilated by someone supposedly trying to repair it. I repaired the broken PCBs and the electronics but there was no drive to the take up spool (Rt hand clutch). The Clutch Drive Idler Pulley, Grundig Part No. 276, was missing. Removed by the previous repairer? I include a photo, of where this pulley wheel is missing from, in case anyone does not know the names or part numbers from Grundig. Does anyone have this part they do not want or know where I can get one. Also if anyone has the diamensions or the engineering drawing for this part, maybe I can get one made.

I got a beautiful Grundig tape recorder model TK40, that needs some mechanical parts. Those parts are made with a weird type of metal that is literally disintegrating.
I dont know the parts number but i took some pictures of it.
Any help will be welcome.
