  • The cabinet is homebuilt, not craftsman like. The chassis looks also homebrew. The captions at the rear jacks are not evenly put on. The letters of logo ACADEMIA are not evenly distributed. The logo may have been transferred and probably "corrected" by hand. Look for the light border around the logo. The accent on the "é" is mandatory for correct spelling: a homebrew, pretending to be a branded product. that is a fake! Without the brand name a homebrew, with it is a fake.

    Interesting radio, seems to be handcrafted, very fancy cabinet with rather curious internal structure to separate the speaker from the chassis. Bakelite chassis, looks like an early assembly of trf triode based receiver with AC power supply and speaker.

    Hand written note on the tag indicates building date (seemingly): 24-11-1931.
