The aerial and earth feed directly into the main tuning coil, and no provision is made for attaching an external loading coil. The detector is a conventional crystal and cat‑whisker unit mounted on a small sub‑panel. The layout is typical of early 1920s crystal sets intended for medium‑wave reception using a long‑wire aerial and high‑impedance headphones. No fittings for long‑wave extension coils are present on this version.
