  • Professional portable analogue stereo audio tape recorder, with time code SMPTE/EBU 80 standard (80 bits time code), that was specially designed for professional film and video applications.

    Uses magnetic tape of ¼” (6.35 mm)  in reels of up to 5” (127 mm) diameter with the plexi-glass lid closed or 7” with the lid open. With option QSET fitted work with reels of 7” with the lid closed. When the QGB accessory is fitted the recorder works with reels of 10” of diameter.

    Tape speed available are: 15 ips, 7.5 ips and 3.75 ips.  Time code control is a microprocessor controlled board and has a detachable LCD display and keyboard. Works with a DC external voltage ranging from 10.5 V to 30 V or with standard batteries (12 type D) enclosed inside the metallic case.

    Weights 6.4 kg when fitted with two 5” reels (one filled with tape) and batteries.
