  • To state that this new Lafayette 365-P Studio Model Portable System is a deluxe system seems inadequate because it is more than that— it is unquestionably the finest portable system ever devised. From every possible angle this system stands head and shoulders above the crowd. In appearance it is striking. Bright, brushed and lacquered aluminum contrasts with deeply etched black metal on the amplifier panel. Warm brown walnut speaker grilles on the loudspeakers harmonise with the finest surroundings. But it is not only in appearance that the model 365-P excels. It is in performance that the excellence of this studio model really stands our. Tone so clear and pure that one is hardly aware of the fact that a public address system is in operation in order to help you hear. 

    The speakers incorporated in the Lafayette Studio Model Portable System are enclosed in inflnite baffles.  Not only do these baffles contribute in no small measure to the excellence of the tone quality of the system, I but they also assist in the reduction of that troubleI some condition known as feed-back; this is accomplished by reducing the "back-wave" of the speakers. Another feature of these baffles is found in the angle at which the speaker can be placed. By resting the case on the end. the speaker faces upward-as for theatre use. Then, by placing the speaker case on the side speaker will face directly forward for normal conditions.
