  • The Lafayette catalog calls this model A-18 Lafayette 6 tube AC-DC 5 band Superhet with Metal Tubes. Wave length is 13 - 30 m, 30 - 75 m, 75 - 200 m, 200 - 550 m and long wave 850 - 1000 m (we believe it is 850 - 2000 m). "Airplane dial with reduction drive ratio for easy short-wave tuning, continuously variable tone control, automatic volume control (AVC), phone-jack, 7 tuned circuits. Rider's shows the A-18 with date Januar 30, 1935 - for 9 tuned circuits, not 7 (3 IF bandfilters), 3 gang condenser.
