  • Remarques
  • LECTURERS, demonstrators, and other users of small public address systems will appreciate the attractiveness and compactness of this new Lafayette model 544-P portable system. It is the first moderately powered portable which can be used with low level microphones such as the velocity and sound cell types. The amplifier employed is the model 236A which is fully described on page 24. A large 10" speaker is built into the cover which provides an unusually large bafle area. The speaker can be placed on the floor or hung by the handle of the cover. 25 feet of speaker cable is supplied.

Both amplifier and speaker are housed within a single case measuring only 13x9 x14 " high. The case is covered with an "airplane type" covering in light tan with dark brown striping. Construction is rugged and the 544-P will stand constant day-in and day-out use over a long period of time. Despite its high quality the 544-P is exceptionally low in price.

Model 544-P less tubes and microphone.   $26.95 USD.
