  • Portable valve receiver with an internal frame aerial, a handle on the top and a turntable underneath. Same chassis as the Ever Ready 5041. "Straight Battery ALL WEATHER Portable" on 1938 advert. Two tone "Crackle effect" paint like McMichael 463 on plywood cabinet.

    90V HT is Lissen LN 3052 (Ever Ready Portable 61) giving about 200+ hours use.

    2V LT is Ever Ready J203 20AH Celluloid cased Gel Lead Acid Accumulator ("jelly-acid"), about 30 hours operation between charging.

    No GB battery as it's automatic via resistor in HT - lead like 1950s models.

    Weight excludes batteries. Price new included batteries.
