  • Early version of the Loewe Opta Bella 189W where the audio output and rectifier tubes are mounted side by side behind the power transformer.

    Due to thermal problems (the last IF filter can suffer from the radiation heat from the EL84) the tube layout has been re-arranged. The later model shows the EZ80 behind the ECH81 and the EL84 then moved to the former place of the EZ80.

    Please note that also the back panels differs in the kind of fastening to the cabinet.
